Every last detail of Caroline and Michael’s June “I do” was a wedding planner’s dream, from the couple’s kind and gracious hearts to the day’s classic color palette of blush and crème. We have treasured working with Caroline’s family in the past—in fact, we’ve coordinated weddings for two of her three sisters! Both Brittany and Lauren carried their grandmother “Bebe’s” brooch on their bouquets, and Caroline was no exception to the family’s unique take on the “Something Borrowed” wedding tradition!

The bride’s elegant Lazaro ball gown wowed groom and guests alike and remained pristine despite a Texas-sized storm thanks to the help of Caroline’s sisters and bridal party. Flower girls donned ethereal crowns of baby’s breath and rosebuds tied with ivory ribbon, one of many beautiful floral touches crafted by The Garden Gate.
After the couple exchanged vows at Royal Lane Baptist Church, the skies cleared just in time for guests to make their way to Brook Hollow while Caroline and Michael stole a moment together on the golf course.
Classically southern floral arrangements perfectly reflected the bride’s vision. Among Caroline’s favorite elements? A garland of lush blooms accenting the iconic Brook Hollow entrance. In her words, “Junior made everything absolutely incredible!”
As a final personal touch, the bride and groom sent guests home with a set of his-and-hers snacks that represented her workplace and his favorite treat: Southwest Airlines honey roasted peanuts and a package of peanut M&Ms.
Congratulations, Caroline and Michael! It was a joy to be a part of your day!
